“Muck” is a project to bring awareness to the amount of pollution we as a human race are producing as well as consuming. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and was surrounded by beautiful mountains. Anytime I went with my family to hike Red Rock Canyon I would bring my disposable cameras. Looking back on all those photos most of them were of nature. I grew up with parents that always taught me to appreciate and love nature. That it is a beautiful gift we have to be able to live on this earth and enjoy it but it must be taken care of. I remember my parents would tell me, “always leave it nicer than you found it.” When we were on our hikes we would pick up trash along the way and throw it away at the end of our hikes. My parents also taught me that nature is bigger than you and not to take advantage of it because it will come back and rip you apart.
